on bells, rings, flowers and I DOs

It’s been a year and a half since I got acquainted with Sherle. I have been her romantic tale gone awry listener of her ex-bf and she’s a lawfully wedded wife to a guy whom she once answered i love you more than a year ago.

I almost late for the pictorial and absolutely late for the ceremony. I brought Cathy to keep me company. The ceremony was held in Guadalupe Church and the reception is just within the vicinity of the church compound.

What feeling could there be being married?

happy anniverstruggle

A Special Toast For Our First Anniverstruggle !
……………….
I guess that’s the best greetings I can give to my batch out of an entire 365 days here in Western WATS.

Struggling to wake up as early as 1:00 am, struggling to open friendster daily, struggling not to dial, struggling to get a day-off, struggling for a half-day option, struggling to be absent, struggling for a break, and a whole lot of struggle. Can you imagine how much struggle we intrepidly face and invest in this job??

Seriously now, we started 25 in numbers at the beginning of the game and now we’re 17 survivors left for the 1 million dollars. Anton, my carpool, is now practicing his profession as an engineer in Mactan Airport, Jade has left for Dubai? (I think) with her fiance, Mylene has found another job she’s happier, daddy Orland is now in Manila, Ross is in FairChild also practicing her profession as an engineer, Mona is now training to become a pilot, and the mightiest of them all is my partner in crime Joje now currently nursing rude, mean and a few nice whites and blacks in Chicago, Illinois, beat that!!
Now, we people left are dissipated to different departments. Seven are still in wire b2cbut two of them are NOP b2c trainees, six of us are already NOP b2c

and that counts me in, and four are in b2b.

Several significant, unexpected as well as unlikely occurences and wondrous things took event. We have there the second babies of Maan and Mich who just by the way gave to a healthy baby boy, the carpool ado’s, mommy Rose becoming a supervisor, JC finding romance inside our workplace, Jenny finding romance with Dolly’s nephew and her mirthless miscarriage, and the feuds amongst us especially Joje and Jane’s swimmingly they came to terms with it before Joje left for Chicago
Of all the things that transpired I especially cherish those days when we go gimmicking in The Villagedining in AA’s BBQtaking the half-day options and either going to a beach or nibling in Jollibee

our mallings and most of all the friendship formed that which made our batch extra-amazing.

It has really been a year, Gosh!!!

internet afficionado

It’s amazing how innovative technologies these days speed up the pace of all our to-do lists daily. That’s cliche!!! But I don’t care…..that’s how I see it!

How in the hell did I get addicted to online surfing?? Oh, I’m asking myself, ain’t I? Damn it…it’s frenzy! I don’t even know how. All I know is that I was reading a 2004 special issue of Starstudio Magazine featuring Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay…(oh, I know what you’re gonna thinkav but please save that first so you can finish popping your eye on this post…I’m actually not interested of your opinion anyway…okay?? good!) In that magazine there’s a section which showed some thread posts from a certain online forum with a web address praning.com.  Since I’m a Bea-John Lloyd bug(I know what you’re thinkin again, but…well, laugh out loud and tease me…I don’t care!!!) I went into that forum. And then everything on being a web junkie fell into place.

Oooh, that’s not even historically true ‘coz I can remember that I was addicted to MIRC chatting for two weeks back in senior high then. Oh, not only that, at one point in time in college I kept an entire three to five hours of scouring and printing music lyrics daily. So I really don’t know!

Now why the hell am I talking to you?! Bloody hell!!

So where am I? Oooh, here we go. Hello, my name is Jason Blu from NOP World. May I please speak with…..may I please, whaaat???! What the?! I can’t concentrate on writing…darn! This post is insane…so am I !!! I’d better terminate this. Catch you later!

long overdue incentive

After several months of whining our concern is finally heard. You see, we’re working for NOP US-B2C, we’re using a totally different software and dialing extremely long research projects compared to WIRE: yet, we’re receiving the same pay.

We may act and talk diabolically a gazillion regarding our concerns with NOP projects and supes; nevertheless, we make sure that we deliver them an accurate and quality outputs. And yes, sometimes we do a lot of breaks in between surveys(not for me though since I hate seeing a lot of breaks in my time card. Call me a struggler… I don’t care) but what can you expect, we’re only humans and placing our butts in the chair for eons as well as talking incessantly is intemperancely irksome, ain’t it?

If not only for the height of absences among NOP US agents this bonus won’t be given to us. Thanks for being thoughtful Chris!!! But like any other case there’s always a bargain. Now that we’re receiving a bonus we shouldn’t have any absences or tardiness ‘coz we may forfeit it. And the worst part is browsing and playing online games are put to halt, and that’s the bargain.

Although we hate the idea of no browsing and playing policy we have to deal with it. After all it’s better than not receiving a 1000 bucks incentive every payday, ain’t it? Anyway, what can we do, we’re just "AGENTS"!!

bloody hell!!!

Whoever among you here have generously donated your blood for whatever hellav a reason that stupidly came in your dumb mind? What we’re you monstrously feeling before or when your unmercifully about to be sucked off your precious bodily yet sticky grose crimson red liquid by that draculous vein sucking needle? Were you ever numb, petrified or pathetically what? How was it while the witchery ceremony was ritualized? Did it hurt like somebody breaking your fragile heart and did it make the world go round and round and perish??

Today I had the opportunity to donate my blood as part of the requirement of my tita’s caesarian package deal. When she asked me about it I initially kept mum. I didn’t give an answer ‘coz I wanna think about it first. Lucky her I was affirmative.

My mom, tita and I went together to Chong Hua Hospital for the blood extraction. What was supposed to be a serious appointment ended up as a comedy. Just when we stepped inside the bloodbank and told the medical staff that I will be donating blood they chortled when they saw my unisilver earrings embellished with a bold brilliant-like stones and said I can’t simply because I have ear pierces. Gosh!!! We came there for nothing. After that denial juncture we stepped off the room and stayed at the waiting area joking and chuckling on what just happened . At the same time, my tita is calling some of her friends and asking them who might be another likely victim.

And so the blood donation ended up to food trippin and maternity dress scouring in Manalili, Magallanes and Borromeo streets.

We never really know what’s in store for us in the future, right? (he he he……. :-0 ) Bloody hell!!!

showing some care to my hair

I just got may paycheck, plus I’m on a day-off so I guess I can give myself a little pampering. I had my hair straightened more than two weeks ago and boy it was really straight(at least for the first two days)!

Since I got my hair straightened I’m supposed to give it a hot oil weekly. But because I don’t have moolah more than a week ago I have to pass first. Now, I’m having my hair hot oiled at freshairemy mom says it’s good for the hair to take away tangles and split-ends.

Sometimes it’s really worthwhile to do some self-pampering even if it costs us pretty expensive. Anyway I have the filthy lucre so why be inhibited?!

Loving your body enough makes you fabulous and never narcissistic.

rare berk bonding

As I’ve promised, I gave my barkada a treat september. From the original seven supermodels… uhmm!!… i mean… members of our berkada, only four of us were there Felynda, Grace, Melfred and I. Sheryl and Siukim didn’t reply to my text invitation while Gianina woke up late(as always..never fails!) and Liz is in manila. I haven’t gave them a treat for almost a year so I succumb to their request… it feels great anyway to give them a treat.

This kind of bonding session happens rarely so it really overwhelms me to meet them and have some wildly funny confabulations and interviews on each other’s update on the latest gossips and ados of their lives.

We ate our dinner at Dessert Factory in Ayala It’s my second time to eat there, first was with my mom and my younger sisters last Mother’s Day.  It was also a treat for my mom since it’s her day.

If you like to nibble on delectable pastries then maybe you can as well try there. Also, they have a variety of palatable meal choices. I personally like seafood etouffe since I’m a seafood buff.

It’s not really the best time we ever had -especially that we’re not complete. However, it was just a wonderful thing to have been together for more than an hour. It was a very rare occasion that each of us enjoy and cherish. It’s berkada spirit. Ciao!

totally oblivious

Shoemart Cebu had a mall wide sale last september 2nd, 3rd and 4th. God! When Cathy and I went there friday the 2nd, boy! if you were there?! it’s like a saturday or sunday! Sunday was the most jampacked since it’s the last day of sale. Imagine a brimful wet market that’s how jammed SM was.

I planned to buy VCDs in Video City because it’s worth only 50 bucks each but I changed plan because their VCDs are used and they look ugly, eeeww!! I might get a defective one, heck no!!!
Anyway, these are the items I purchased that last day sale: an unbranded transparent pair of sunglasses with a little shade of brown without a frame and a silky black bag with white strap and edges from Human.  I didn’t mind the crowd though -totally oblivious. I was enjoying my luxury shopping.

celluphile braggart

L

ike any other person, mostly from 35 years old and under, I can’t live without my mobile phone(oh, just ignore those pips who are wherewhital deprived to have one!). Ever since I started burning my own keypad I feel a little hard to cope up with my daily to-do lists, appointments and whereabouts if my celphone is out of my hand at any given time.

For the first 3 months ’twas just like a luxury but after that it became a requisite(at least for my family). I was in senior high when I got hold of my own phone; abd since I’m still very much dependent with my mom, she makes sure that I never run out of load so I can just press the necessary buttons and that fantastic device tell her my needs and emergency something… or whatever…

But a serious entry is not my intention here n-I’m here to "brag"!!! But before I do the honor… I’d like to give you a glimpse of the evolution of my mobile phone units.

My worked in Alcatel Service Center during 2000-2001 so my very first unit was an Alcatel. Here are the phones I’ve used:

Left to right:  OT Easy, OT View, OT300, Nokia 8250 & a Nokia 3310

This is my phone prior to my latest one, but I still have it right now -I bring it along with me in case my new phone runs out of battery.

Now, I finally got an amazingly sybaristic high-end celphone -a Nokia 6260- I’m loving it!
